About the role
The srIt helpdesk lead role is instrumental in ensuring that it performs as efficiently as possible by implementing onboarding / offboarding processes, creating automation where it is needed, maintaining high security awareness, and ensuring knowledge sharing among team membersThe role is challenging but rewarding at the same time since it is helping to shape it and pango group.
Administer and implement mac and pc management solution (airwatch, jamf or cisco meraki).
Support corporate softwares such as atlassian app suite, gsuite, slack, and zoom
Administer and implement a cost-effective, but highly functional helpdesk system
Keeping inventory of all hardware and software
Support okta roles/services as an sso platform
Support windows server 2008, windows server 2012, microsoft active directory, and aws directory services
Perform cost-benefit and return-on-investment analyses for proposed changes to the desktop computing environment.
Plan, direct, and manage information technology help desk projects such as the maintenance of and upgrades to hardware and software.
Design and deploy new desktop services and enhancements to existing hardware, software, and operating systems; proactively identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
Gauge the effectiveness and efficiency of existing desktop infrastructure; develop and implement strategies for improving or further leveraging these services.
Support productivity tools running on windows and mac.
Support and help to enforce change management
Implement a smooth onboarding / offboarding process
Act as a mentor and provide oversight, coaching, and training to the desktop support technicians.
Support sso activities and automation
Other duties as assigned
Degree in mis (or related field) or relevant industry certification(s) preferred
5+ years of experience in the areas of end user support and maintenance of mac and pc hardware and software
2+ years supporting users on okta
Experience deploying, implementing and managing mac and pc management enterprise solution (airwatch, jamf or cisco meraki)
In-depth knowledge of all windows pc operating systems and mac
Experience in windows migration and pushing deployment changes using sccm
Working knowledge of essential windows system administration and networking principles, e.gActive directory, tcp/ip configuration, dhcp, vpn, and dns required
Working knowledge of okta, gsuite, github, jira, and confluence required
Any scripting experience
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Available for periodic 24/7 on-call and off-hours support
