We are hiring: national director, acute rehab operations - ascension living - full-time - days - remote*
Approximately 25% travel
Ascension living is looking for a national director of acute rehab operations to join our strategic leadership teamIf you are looking for a role where you will develop and oversee the implementation of goals and objectives while providing strategic leadership and direction enterprise-wide for ascension living`s acute rehab operations, then we want to talk to you - apply today! what you will do: develop and oversee implementation of strategic goals and objectives while identifying new markets for growth and maximizing the existing inpatient rehabilitation footprintProvide leadership and direction enterprise-wide for acute care rehab services among the ascension living portfolio and other ascension entities, such as ascension medical group, clinical network services and other service line leaders.
Act as liaison on behalf of ascension with our joint-venture partners to build and maintain positive/productive strategic relationships with health ministries and ascension medical group, clinical network services and other service lines to support the post-acute care rehabilitation direction and needs of patients.
Monitor the utilization of resources and outcomesParticipate in performance improvement activities.
Maximize margin by creating an efficient operating modelPrepare operating and capital expenditure budgets in partnership with ministry marketsEnsure compliance and monitor capital spendEvaluate existing management agreements.
Develop, refine, and evaluate quality/performance metrics and reporting mechanisms.
Conduct hiring, training, directing, development and evaluation of staff.
What you will need: education:
Bachelor`s degree requiredMaster`s degree preferred.
7 years of experience required.
10 years of experience preferred.
5 years of leadership or management experience preferred.
Additional preferences: highly preferred:
Ability to travel as needed, estimated at approximately 25%.
Experience in multistate operations both freestanding and inpatient acute rehab.
Operations experience with contracted third parties and with in-house management.
Administrative operational experience.
