The business desk specialist is responsible for providing comprehensive support across multiple departments with a focus on sales operations support, contracts management, and business process management.

Key responsibilities
Work with sales, marketing and delivery teams to facilitate smooth interactions and transitions between each department
Support the sales team to ensure opportunities and their data are accurately maintained in d365ce
Ability to analyze data from d365ce and other platforms to make recommendations for demand planning and sales forecasting
Provide sow management before contracts enter the business desk review/approval process, and facilitate the sales to delivery onboarding process once contracts are executed
Facilitate sow reviews by performing 1st level reviews, managing revisions and ensuring the progress of contracts through to completion
Create and maintain sow templates and libraries
Maintain executed sow repositories
Maintain current arbela sops, templates, and document repositories
Assess current arbela business processes and sops to propose and introduce additional efficiencies whenever possible
Create new business processes and sops when needed
Generate accurate and timely reports as requested, to include reporting on contract status, revenue and backlog
Required qualifications, experience, & skills
Highly motivated, self-starter with the ability to take ownership of tasks and activities
Excellent time management skills, well-organized, consistently meet commitments and strong attention to detail
Customer service-oriented attitude and excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
Good understanding of the sales cycle and how the business desk specialist role aids in its success
Ability to quickly learn and use new system functionality
Experience in training and assistance using various technology platforms
Demonstrated ability to be highly effective in a virtual team organization
Demonstrated ability to work in a constantly changing environment with limited direction
Ability to interact with all levels of the organization
Additional qualifications & skills
3-5+ years’ experience in sales operations (preferably within the enterprise software business
Bachelor’s degree or higher
Familiar with agile and waterfall implementation methodology
Proficient in microsoft office suite and azure devops
Experience working with a multicultural and/or multilingual team across several time zones
Experience presenting and interfacing with c-level executives
