Position summary As a construction loan coordinator, you will play a critical role in protecting amplify's financial interest by ensuing proper loan documentation for construction draws and multi-disbursement loan funding based on amplify policies and procedures as well as regulatory requirementsClose adherence to the loan approval and closing covenants, funds control, budget review and analysis, and vendor oversight will be criticalIf you love numbers, have strong mathematical capabilities, and an eye for detail when it comes to contracts and numbers, this may be your dream job.
In this role, you will:
Generate construction and multi-disbursement loan documents
Perform a review of all contractors to assure proper vendor guidelines, licensing, insurance, experience, etc.
Perform a review of all construction contracts and budgets to confirm appropriateness for given project
Disburse funds and proceeds in accordance with budgets and allocations
Act as first point of contact with amplify members, third parties, contractors, and internal departments for loan servicing and funding for all construction and multi-disbursement loans
Produce periodic reports to ensure proper tracking and reconciliation on each assigned loan as well as the entire construction and multi-disbursement portfolio; report exceptions as warranted and action plans for resolution
Develop and implement file documentation workflow; ensure that all loan files are accurately documented, scanned, and stored
Coordinate and document wire transfers and external funds tracking to third party vendors or members
Perform pre-closing lien searches and post-closing lien perfection activity, inclusive of mechanic lien waiver reviews as warranted

Education and/or experience
High school diploma or equivalent requiredCollege degree in related field desired.
Minimum of one (1) year of experience preparing and overseeing loan closings, construction loans, and/or multi-disbursement loansRelated financial industry experience (mortgage lending or banking) preferred with credit union experience highly desired.
Certificates, licenses, registrations Must be bondable.
Software & equipment requirements To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of microsoft office suite including, word, excel, and outlookExperience with finastra/laserpro closing software is a plus.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
General knowledge of credit union/financial services
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
A passion for people and service, as well as a dedication to building relationships with members
Ability to work with members and staff tactfully and professionally, both personally and on the phone
Ability to work proactively and independently with minimal supervision
Strong computer skills and proficiency with keyboarding in a pc/windows environment, with an aptitude for learning new software programs
Ability to work flexible hours and overtime as needed

Starting pay Starting pay for this position is up to $26 per hour, depending on experience.
