We are looking for an outstanding technical program manager (tpm), someone who innovates, loves solving hard problems, and never takes `no` for an answerYou will work hard, have fun, and of course, make history!
The primary role of the wwde tpm team is to drive strategic, next generation retail supply chain development from early investigative/ inception phases through the architectural design phase, then hand those projects off to the operations engineering team for implementation.
A successful candidate will have broad experience and deep skills in program managing complex, never-been-done-before projects which included a high degree of ambiguityYou will work successfully across multiple large engineering and operations teams at a strategic level and at a deep engineering levelA candidate requires attention to detail, good communication skills such as working well with others, analytical and abstract thinking skills and time management and organizational skills.
Key job responsibilities
Responsibilities include:
1Identify, promote and lead efforts to obtain approval for new strategic, initiatives and programs.
2Lead strategic, trans-organizational initiatives to explore new supply chain delivery technologies and methods.
3Lead next generation supply chain programs and projects chartered to exploit findings obtained from strategic initiatives.
4Cross-pollinate best practices between engineering and operations teams.
Masters or phd in engineering (any discipline)
Capital project management skills
Experience with complex automated material handling equipment, packaging technologies, and systems including robotics, and high speed manufacturing.
Strong communication skills to coordinate with team members, operations, and management.
Analytical, computer, math and problem-solving skills to be able to use software and to explain solutions.
Project managing skills to start projects and finish projects successfully
