Amazon currency converter is part of amazon payments products, a fast-growing business with new product launches and market-leading features which improve customers` shopping experience on amazonThis role is on the payments products team which drives customer adoption and awareness of our financial products by optimizing conversion through superior analytical marketing and account executive engagement.
Our team is seeking a dynamic and motivated sales manager to build and lead a team of account executives who will prospect and facilitate the adoption of us and eu based selling partners to amazon’s currency converter productAs an organization, amazon currency converter is highly influential by coordinating across global sales organizations, product teams, and category teams.
This role will focus on building win-win relationships with selling partners to increase engagement and adoption of growth-driving programsThe successful candidate thrives in an ambiguous environment where they must develop, implement, and iterate data, strategy, and processes to enable the success of their teamThis individual will lead the sales strategy for us and uk selling partners, building a development pipeline and partnering with the product and finance teams to set growth targets and metrics.
The successful sales manager will:
Hire, develop, and grow a high performing team of account executives
Develop a sales acquisition strategy for us/uk sellers.
Work with a sense of urgency to drive and deliver sales goals while maintaining a high quality of work.
Operate with a continuous motor to identify, recruit and motivate potential selling partners to expand globally.
Drive business reviews with sellers and perform analysis to understand sales trends and drivers and develop recommendations on how to grow the business.
Develop a thorough understanding of the specific market segments, seasonality and global business trends/events
Implement account management best practices and sops into the business development framework.
Partner with other amazon teams including category management (cmms), program development, and other global selling teams to align programs and initiatives to drive growth in existing seller base.

Success managing strategic clients or accounts and dynamic account portfolios
Experience directly leading sales / account management teams
