Ba/bs required or equivalent experience
10+ years of general management and/or sales leadership experience for a relevant technology and / or systems integrator
7+ years of direct sales and/or partner management experience leading teams across multiple markets.
8+ years of experience developing and winning complex, multi-year contract agreements with public sector customers.

As a srManager within amazon web services (aws) you will have the exciting opportunity to drive the growth plan and shape the future of emerging technology with a growing systems integrator that serves defense & aerospace customersYour mission will be to develop and lead a team of account managers, partner development manager and customer solutions managers creating aws awareness, adoption and overall aws competencyYou will drive business and technical relationships by helping to define, identify, and pursue key cloud related opportunitiesThis includes determining the most effective go-to-market strategies, as well as collaborating with the commercial sales, legal, marketing, product, contracts and executive leadership teamsThe ideal candidate will possess a business background that enables them to drive an engagement and interact at the executive levelHe/she should also have a demonstrated ability to think strategically about the mission, product, and technical challenges, with the ability to build and convey compelling value propositionsIn addition, a basic understanding of cloud essentials is necessary to be successful in this role.
Roles & responsibilities:
Serve as a key leader of the aws public sector systems integrator partner team.
Drive revenue and market share selling to and with the systems integrator partner.
Lead and manage team members to exceed goals and kpis.
Maintain an accurate and robust pipeline and forecast of business opportunities.
Understand and navigate public sector contracting vehicles and procedures.
Understand the technical considerations and certifications specific to the defense and aerospace.
Execute the strategic sales & business development plan while working with key internal and external stakeholders (e.gSales teams, service teams, legal, support, etc.).
Understand the technical requirements of our customers and work closely with the solutions architecture team to guide the direction of our product offerings.
Prepare and give business reviews to the senior management team regarding progress and roadblocks to assigned targets.
This role requires domestic and global travel as permitted by foreign government travel restrictions.

Experience in customer facing roles leading large scale transformation pursuits or extensive customer engagements with systems integrators and/or large enterprises.
Experience in cloud technologies – understanding of public and hybrid cloud platforms or as-a-service models (saas, paas, iaas).
Experience leading, implementing, managing and executing field programs and resources.
Strong analytical skills, and demonstrated ability to turn detailed data analysis into useful strategic insight in order to drive customer adoption and make appropriate recommendations to the business.
Demonstrated experience coaching, mentoring, and developing sales teams.
Entrepreneurial spirit, with a high tolerance for ambiguity and complexity, and the ability to be efficient with limited resources
Experience and success in negotiating complex deals with customers and partnerYou`ve not only carried quotas, you`ve consistently exceeded them by doing the right thing for your customer.
Aws cloud certification
Mba is highly valued as is a technical background with computer science, and/or engineering/math background.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively across internal and external organizations.
