Minimum 6 years of operations or finance experience
Business ops, sales ops, finance or similar functional background
Experience with incentive compensation, training, enablement, change management, metrics and reporting in multiple organizational programs such as goals setting, training and enablement, curriculum development, organizational development, and metrics development including dashboarding and scorecarding
Advanced microsoft office skills, particularly excel
Expertise with salesforce
Experience with tableau or other bi/analytics tools

The strategic industries business unit is seeking an experienced sales operations lead to lead the strategy and execution of our global incentive compensations programs across all of our customer facing rolesThis leader will partner across the organization with sales operations, hr, finance, and leadership to own incentive compensation for account teams, including forward looking strategy, execution, communication, tooling and metrics, and process improvement initiativesThis role will bring visibility to the effectiveness of our sales incentives as well as drive automation and simplification initiatives to improve speed, accuracy, and effectiveness of our compensation programsThey will be responsible for looking around corners and measuring the performance of the organization, supplying their sales and sales operations leadership with relevant and timely insights on the health of sales incentive programsThey will also be responsible for bringing best practices from the worldwide sales operations and external organizations.
The successful candidate has excellent business and sales acumen, strong communication and collaboration skills, deep analytics experience, broad technical skills, and a demonstrated ability to both execute and influenceThey must be willing to roll up their sleeves, dive deep to lean, be comfortable working within ambiguity, and have a passion for driving operational excellence.

Key job responsibilities
This role is critical and highly visible across the organizationYour key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Sic strategy and planning
Definition of standard metrics, tooling and dashboards
Communications, enablement, and change management
Track and report all key performance indicators, goals, efficiency and trend analyses during monthly business reviews
Drive process improvement and change management – lead and deliver training
Prepare ad hoc analysis & participate on projects as needed
Analyze data and trends to make informed recommendations to managers and drive change
Define requirements for specific tooling to support processes and optimize their day to day work
Collaborate with other operations managers to identify and implement best practices.
This position can be located in any aws office in the u.s.

Mba or similar relevant advanced degree is preferred
6+ years of leading a divisional sales operations, sales excellence, sales strategy or sales finance functions for a fast-paced sales organization or a sales operations function such as incentive compensation
Advanced understanding of sales incentives - strategy, behaviors, financial impact, etcWhat drives sales behavior and how sales processes work
Demonstrated ability to operate with significant autonomy and discretion and influence a broad range of stakeholder teams
Demonstrated ability to lead business process design and improvement initiatives, automate operational tasks, and prioritize time for high business impact activities (long and short term)
Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive work ethic
Able to operate successfully in a lean, fast-paced organization
Highly organized with multi-tasking skills; efficient in ambiguous situations
Demonstrated ability to work across organizational boundaries
