This team handles the services contracting for all altera digital health solutions
Lots of work in salesforce.com, oracle, word, and excel – preferred candidates will be experienced in these solutions
You`ll receive requests from sales and other businesses to provide services quotes – could be add-on services or part of a larger software sales contract.
You`ll reach out to different departments for assistance in determining appropriate quotes for these services.
You`ll ensure that the quote is placed in the proper contracting format and/or will ensure that it matches the client masterThen you`ll create it for execution.
You`ll finalize the services in oracle for all service requests and will ensure that the client contracted rates are applied, as well as payment terms in oracle.
Job responsibilities
Act as a liaison between sales, prospects, and corporate departments to ensure compliance and timely completion of tasks and accurate services and products are correctly contracted
Execute against plan and show progress towards individual and team goals, as well as communicate effectively to internal clients while maintaining a positive and productive attitude.
Resolve routine legal questions under the direction of an attorney.
Could perform any of the following:
Assess and determine areas of a proposal that may represent a potential liability to the organization and works with legal, commercial operations, finance, and other relevant departments to gain agreement on acceptable terms for the business and the client.
Escalate opportunities that are not getting due attention and could potentially cause lost revenue to the business if not resolved in a timely manner.
Identify and reports on deals crucial to meeting the order intake and revenue targets of the business.
Work with field sales and sales engineering teams to facilitate proposal development via a list of defined criteria.
Create and modify sales proposals within the allscripts quote tools and providing finalize contracts for client signature.
Gather business and technical requirements and interprets needs
Maintain accurate and efficient proposal status and routes information for all assigned proposals
Manage communications and feedback from sales executives related to proposal processing and quality.
Coordinate and manage deal review process to ensure accuracy and compliance to business expectations at time of proposal presentation by the field to the client.
Obtain the necessary approvals for procedural, financial, and legal compliance for contracting.
Contribute to the design and execution of process improvement initiatives surrounding deal review, lease qualification and purchase order generation, and contract element validation.
Support revenue recognition and contract clearance via order intake processing and associated reporting.
Work closely with internal subject matter experts (smes) throughout the quoting and contracting process, updating, and forecasting correct services numbers in the quote for pipeline reports.
Overtime as business needs require, i.e., end of month/end of quarter
Education & skill set requirements
Bachelor`s degree in business, sales, marketing, or equivalent experience
2-4 years sales contracting experience, strongly preferred
Experienced at supporting sales orgs and other internal clients, i.e., finance and operations
Detail-orientedStrong preference for candidates who have held roles that required meticulous review of documents to ensure accuracy.
Impressive verbal and written communications skills
Proficient in microsoft office suite (i.e., word, excel, outlook)
Proficient in salesforce.com and oracle
