The it finance associate manager leads and directs daily execution of analysis and communication of financial results, development of compelling storylines and formulation of financial projections for key products, markets and initiativesThis role facilitates achievement of business objectives with guidance, while ensuring financial credibility and reputation of high quality financial measurement, reporting, planning and consultingThe associate manager is responsible for building financial team excellence, and developing analysts.
This position can work remotely from home or hybrid from our office in northbrook, il or charlotte, nc.
Serve as financial advisor in absence of manager, assisting business unit leaders and partners in a consultative manner and identifying needs in the areas of forecasting, planning, strategic planning, measurement, business case development, capital management and internal controls
Build and communicate convincing story lines and forward-thinking insights (with minimum focus/reliance on the numbers) to help leaders understand results, and anticipate/ understand challenges and opportunities for their business
Assist in preparing the strategic and operating plans for the business unit and utilize forecast updates to influence management decisions
Participate on multi-discipline project teams as financial advisor
Lead team members to ensure team efficiency and effectiveness (e.g., conflict/problem resolution, process/system improvements, resource procurement, supportive environment)
This job has supervisory responsibilities.
Education and experience
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
5 or more years of related experience
High-level of knowledge of general corporate finance
Demonstrated depth of financial and analytical expertise
Knowledge of accounting principles and general audit procedures
Experience as a business consultant in a finance related field
Effective communication across multiple levels and mediums
Demonstrated experience in talent and people management skills
Ba or bs in finance, economics, accounting, mathematics or related area of study
Compensation range for this position is $75,900 - $110,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications.
The candidate(s) offered this position will be required to submit to a background investigation, which includes a drug screen.
