Allegheny science & technology (ast) is currently seeking a p rogram _ analyst_ to provide technical and programmatic support to a federal client agencyAn ideal candidate is a confident, proactive, and demonstrated problem-solver and multi-tasker; effectively communicates with external stakeholders, technical staff, and senior management; and is experienced in sustainable transportation technologies r&d programs.
Position responsibilities include:
Support client initiatives dealing with sustainable transportation technologies, policy, research, and programmatic support.
Support leadership team in developing and executing long-term program strategy.
Support implementation and evaluation of r&d program research priorities, as well as r&d funding opportunities and awards.
Support and coordinate sustainable transportation research collaborations, consortia, and stakeholder groups.
Research, draft, and/or review technical reports, strategic plans, white papers, policy language, briefing materials, talking points, and related products as assigned.
Provide technical input in developing responses to congressional inquiries.
Develop formal responses to a broad variety of internal and external inquiries on sustainable transportation activities and technologies.
Perform outreach to different stakeholders as needed, including correspondence, meeting facilitation, and participation at relevant conferences, workshops, or meetings as approved.
Bachelor’s degree in relevant field, advanced degree preferred (science, engineering, policy, economics, or related field).
5+ years of experience.
Excellent and proactive communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to clearly articulate an issue, technical approaches, and expected impacts.
Demonstrated proficiency using microsoft office (word, excel, powerpoint).
Project management professional (pmp) certification.
