Job description :
The clinical operations systems support specialist is responsible for providing technical assistance and support related to computer systems, hardware, or software managed by the enterprise clinical operations departmentResponds to queries, isolates problem, and determines and implements solution
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Support all internal and external customers with system support, knowledge and expertise.
Provide/coordinate solutions in a timely fashion for issues that may arise with all clinical operations managed systems.
Log and track support calls in the designated system(s) and prioritize and escalate jobs as required to ensure customer satisfaction.
Identify trends in the support calls and develop documentation to address these most-often reported problems and issuesNotify management of increasing trends, unusual activity or repeated activity.
Brief customers as well as management on the status of current resolution efforts and attend routine and/or ad hoc meetings as requested or required.
Recommends means for product or system improvements including procedural steps, increased training, and enhanced documentation.
Assist other teams to initiate, design and manage effective support solutions as directed by our business needs.
Assist with the development and testing of newly designed system configurations for operational integrity and function
Effectively communicate the ideas, expectations, and goals while working with and through others to achieve desired result.
Serve as a subject matter expert for internal team members
Work directly with customer representatives and end-users on-site if needed.
Bachelors degree in it, computer science, nursing or relevant field
Clinical licensure preferred
3+ years experience in case management, disease management, utilization management, and/or population health management.
Strong computer literacy skills with an emphasis on software knowledge, installations and useMicrosoft applications, data base applications, internet and internet protocols
Basic computer abilities with the understanding of terminology and functionality.
Ability to multitask and handle multiple ongoing projects at once, and to effectively prioritize tasks based on company or project directives; maintain a positive attitude.
Ability to be proactive and able to take direction and establish ownership of projects.
Ability to use logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems and identify solutions.
Ability to understand current clinical operations software and its underlying framework at a practical level for predicting issues, possible downstream effects and possible upstream causes while also understanding clients’ workflows and potential implications on the software.
Excellent telephone presence with organized follow-up skills
Demonstrated networking skills, able to foster strong relationships internally and externally.
Prior successful experience working directly with senior management, specifically with identification, analysis, presentation and execution of projects.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong customer focus; service oriented attitude
