We are currently seeking a self - motivated salesperson that is a proactive hunter who can work with end-customers, oems, and engineering firms in the southeast regionThis is an outside sales position (>60% travel) responsible for finding new business opportunities across municipal wastewater and industrial markets within the nc, sc and tn territoryMust live within territoryThe primary duties of this position include:
Calling on end-user customers, engineering firms and oems who specify / purchase our equipment - effectively influence their purchasing specifications to include aerzen products.
Productively supporting and managing our representative (rep) channel to market and build strong relationships within each of their networks.
Proactively uncovering and sourcing new aerzen customers within the market / region; developing and finding new applications for aerzen products.
Effectively managing relationships with key customer accounts - to include understanding the landscape and decision-makers within each key account, how / when decisions are made.
Providing support to customers, oem`s, and engineering firms as applicable: equipment selection, review of specifications, compliance with standards, total cost of ownership assessments, etc.
Developing commercial strategies for proposals and bid submittals; coordinating support as required for pre-bid meetings and follow up.
Preparing / delivering professional presentations and coordinating customer education efforts as required.
Bachelor`s degree in engineering is preferred; however, five (5)- years selling engineered products will also be considered in lieu of degree.
Minimum two (2)- years of industry blowers, controls and / or wastewater is helpful.
Minimum five (5)- years of experience in external sales and / or rep management.
Outstanding presentation and communication skills.
Must be coachable, persistent

High level of customer focus
Must have a strong sense of urgency to meet customer commitments
