Full job description
A prominent robotics/automation company is in search for a district/account sales manager to help with their northeast territoryTravel required.
Responsibilities:
The account manager will have responsibility for driving sales growth and new business development in their set territory
Accounts managers are primarily responsible for selling products and/or services to new accounts and expanding business sales to existing accounts
S/he works independently within an assigned territory or customer base and manages all aspects of the selling process
Administers sales policies and programs to meet sales and profit goals for the territory
Manages and builds relationships with existing customers
Identifies and establishes relationships with new customers
Promotes and sells company products; has solid knowledge of product and/or services
Develop and grow sales within territory to meet and exceed annual volume, revenue and pipeline development targets
Manage an existing customer portfolio and increasing customer portfolio to deliver targeted growth
Working with marketing, application development, product management, customer service, and r&d teams to improve customer experience and target growth opportunities
Qualifications: * welding experience preferred
Minimum 5 years’ experience in sales experience
Proven selling and negotiating skills
Experience in development of strategic account plans
Excellent management skills to handle large accounts and to organize and plan for many simultaneous and complex issues
