As the head of sales you’ll participate in both strategy and executionYou’ll serve on the senior leadership team, have p&l responsibility and work across departments to influence our marketing and customer success effortsAt the same time, you’ll manage the day–to-day efforts of the sales and business development teams and participate in major opportunities.
Your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
Represent sales at the executive level, including okr planning and cross-team collaboration to develop and execute go-to-market strategies
Manage the sales and business development teams’ operations and resources to deliver profitable growth (while maintaining the culture and core values of adpearance)
Hire and develop members of the sales and business development teams
Set individual and company goals and work with the teams to achieve them
Keep the sales and business development teams highly motivated to achieve their targets by defining and implementing staff compensation and incentive programs
Implement training programs that initiate professional development and growth
Lead select enterprise sales opportunities
Build out the sales infrastructure (systems and software) required for success and continuously optimize the company’s use of salesforce
You are an ideal candidate if:
You have a demonstrated track record of sales leadership, including building departments or channels, not simply running them.
You have excellent communication skillsYou are comfortable and clear talking with people at all levelsPeople understand what you want them to do and are excited by the challenges you present.

You have the ability to earn the trust of stakeholders, partners, and leaders.
You’ve received formal sales training from proven sales organization(s).
Education and experience
3+ years directing a sales function
5+ years leading sales teams
10+ years sales experience and/or relevant education
Bonus points for experience in automotive
