Requirements What you will do: Activtrak is looking for an engineering manager to serve as a technical leader and people manager on our api and product integrations teamThe team owns each phase of development with embedded product management, design, operations, and data specialists as well as full stack engineersThey are responsible for feature design, development, performance, deployment, and bug fixes for the lifecycle of the productWe work together in two week sprints and the team participates in shared on-call duties. 3 - 5 years of experience leading, coaching, and mentoring a team of software engineers.
Giving constructive feedback to help your direct reports grow in their careersDemonstrated ability to recruit and retain new team members.
Improving software delivery and operational processes, both within the team and working with peers in management across engineering. Collaborating with product, design, and engineering leads to ensure consistent and high-quality software delivery. Serving as a force multiplier to help others do their best work. Representing your team in management as well as department and company-wide meetings. Joining an on-call rotation to respond alongside engineers to rare instances of downtime. An interest in promoting an inclusive team culture where engineers of diverse backgrounds can grow and contribute.
A willingness and desire to build teams that others will learn fromAbility to pattern match and categorize separate incidents to identify common root causes. Ability to prioritize incidents in order to resolve our most significant issues firstIdeally managed or worked with a distributed or hybrid distributed/collocated team.
Development experience using c# and .net core
Experience in cloud environments (e.gAws, google cloud platform) data modeling design and sql experience

Nice to have: Comprehensive c# knowledge (e.gReflection, lambda, linq, multithreading) docker/containers, kubernetes Angularjs, mvc … experience with react or angular+ is a plus html/xhtml, css
