This is a virtual/remote position
The lead application developer oversees the business systems department and is a blended leadership, hands-on architecture, coding, and support roleYou will be responsible for the product and development roadmap in-house applications that support operations and billing for senior living services.
Our product portfolio includes several in-house applications, including patient registry and contracting, a corporate portal, enterprise reporting, and integration with several 3rd party application suites (including emr, gl/pl, hris, ats, and lms).
We are a lean, fast-moving team, and this role is pivotal as we continue our journey into the cloud!
Essential duties and responsibilities:
Strong development skills within the microsoft ecosystem (vb.net, c#, ms sql, ssis, ssrs).
Front- and back-end architecture skills, including ui design.
Familiarity with agile process (kanban / scrum) and source control (tfs and/or microsoft devops).
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to communicate effectively with all layers of the organization, from the front line to senior management.
Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
Supervisory, leadership, delegation, and mentoring skills.
Ability to function autonomously in a fast-paced environment with multiple competing priorities.
Education and experience:
At least four years related it development experience required.
Bachelor’s degree preferred, may be substituted with a combination of technical training and hands-on experience.
At least one year of supervisory experience at the team lead level.
Healthcare it experience preferred (including hipaa).
Cloud and hybrid-cloud experience preferred.
Data warehousing experience preferred.
Low/no-code platform experience preferred.
In-house application architecture, development, and support.
Integration support with 3rd party applications (api, file-based integration, and microservices).
Maintain a security first posture complying with regulatory frameworks (hipaa, internal controls).
