As a Vendor Specialist, you will represent AKQA to external vendors in a highly professional and customer-focused manner. It is expected that you will also provide exceptional service to AKQA employees supporting the Vendor setup process for North America. This role requires acute attention to detail and the ability to perform in a demanding, fast-paced environment.
ROLE REQUIREMENTS
- Processes all Vendor setup requests promptly and accurately
- Maintains Vendor record data in the Sage 500 application (no previous experience required, but a plus)
- Responds to employee requests through the Zendesk ticketing system in a professional and timely manner
- Attention to detail is a must, has to follow all steps of the Vendor setup process to remain compliant (obtaining pertinent approvals and necessary paperwork)

- Has the ability to follow-up, multi-task, communicate effectively and clearly
- Courteous demeanor and works well with multiple colleagues cross departmentally
- Affinity for helping to improve efficiencies and document processes
- Attention to detail, learns quickly, adaptable, flexible and has service-oriented mentality
- Experience working with Sage 500 or other relevant applications a plus (not required)
- Ability to resolve open issues to closure
- Comfortable working autonomously
- Great communication skills and problem-solving skills
- Highly organized with the ability to multitask
