Essential duties and responsibilities
As a member of aei’s devops team, your primary responsibility will be development work within aei’s highly customized filemaker solutionDevelopment projects will vary in size and complexity and may include development and support of aei’s other business critical applicationsThe successful candidate will also be involved in the development, testing and deployment of api solutions across a wide variety of ecosystemsYou will have hands-on involvement in our sprint planning meetings, sprint standup calls and other required it planning & strategy sessionsThe ideal candidate will be a logical & structured thinker and have the ability to prioritize daily, weekly and monthly development goals as demand requiresIn addition to having filemaker developer experience, you should be highly proficient in at least one other programming languageThis is an in-house, remote or on-site position (walnut creek, ca preferred if on-site).
3+ years’ experience programming in filemaker pro v13 and above, including relational design, scripting, report and ui design.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Good training and communication skills, verbal and written.
Manage multiple projects in deadline-driven environments.
Ability to work both collaboratively and independently.
Strong understanding of database design and implementation across platforms.
Exceedingly excellent organization skills.
General sql/.net experience.
Intuitive design skills in ui/ux
Understanding of software engineering best practices.
Desire to learn new technology.
Familiarity with deltek vision/vantagepoint.
Experience with api integrations, including restful, soap, and similar.
