Senior global program manager
We are currently expanding our program management office and are looking for talented program managersThis role requires the ability to manage high- visibility projects of strategic importance to the company and to participate in a cross-functional collaborative team environmentEnergy, focus and the ability to work well with others will be essential to the success of this role and the assigned initiatives.
The senior program manager has responsibility for developing program plans and executing those with a cross-functional teamDetermining success metrics, leading the team in an agile format, establishing milestones and prints, and guiding the team through status and ensuring objectives are met are principle responsibilitiesThis position is responsible for maintaining communication with and providing reports (both written and oral) to key stakeholders and leadershipThe program manager is ultimately responsible for the overall team and the program’s performance and success.
Drive complex cross organizational programs consisting of multiple projects and drive day-to-day execution
Collect, assemble, organize and analyze data to inform program direction, develop program kpi’s and success metrics, and to track performance; share performance metrics with minimal direction
Apply knowledge of policies, procedures, regulations, and program management best practices (project management business programs) to ensure progress toward deliverables
Develop and sustain positive relationships and ensure we achieve superior results-based business outcomes
Create a well-defined project plan; identify, track, and remove impediments to project success
Assure that all team members understand and accept their roles and responsibilities
Pull together upfront estimates of time and resource utilization
Analyze risk and mitigation accordingly, including establishing contingency plans, initiating corrective action, and with an eye to overall organizational change management
Track capital budgets and provide financial reports (when applicable)
Monitor and track execution of the plan and communicate status to all program/project participants
Maintain all relevant program documentation
Required skills & experience :
8+ years of related program management experience
Mastery of change management methodologies and industries best practices
Experience working with senior executives and other senior management
Exhibits organizational and political agility and highly developed negotiation skills
Understanding and proven experience working with data to build buy-in for change (analytics-driven change management)
Advanced microsoft skills including word, excel and powerpoint
Ability to work under pressure, manage priorities while meeting deadlines
Excellent organizational and follow up skills
Ability to work independently
Must be a self-starter
Demonstrated credibility, professionalism and decisiveness
Demonstrated oral and written communication skills
Able to successfully navigate within varying degrees of ambiguity in a fast-paced environment
Good sense of self and strong personal presence; ability to lead through influence
Ability to creatively solve problems for which the answers aren’t always obvious
Bachelor’s degree in business or another relevant field; master’s degree preferable
