Join our team as a certified cancer/tumor registrar ii !!
Prn - minimum of 30hrs per week
Summary:
The certified cancer registrar ii in compliance with national, state and accreditation standards will identify, collects, interprets, analyzes, codes, summarizes and maintains complex cancer patient data from a range of relevant sources, using multiple data systems, to ensure accurate, comprehensive, and timely patient records and statisticsAs a clinical informatics', uses technical knowledge and data systems to develop, validate and present registry data reports for committees, special projects, physicians and administrators.
Qualifications:
Education: associates degree required
*successful completion of an associate's degree in any field or 3 years of experience in lieu of degree.
Credentials:
Essential:
* certified tumor registrar
* current national cancer registry association (ncra)-issued certified tumor registrar (ctr) certification
*a credentialed professional must complete 20 hours of continuing education (ce) credits every two years to maintain the ctr credential
