Position: operations manager

Overview of position
The operations manager for him is responsible for planning, directing and overseeing the operations and fiscal health of the business unitThe manager is responsible for overseeing and leading the work of a group of people.
Duties and tasks:
Accomplishes department objectives by managing staff; planning and evaluating department activities
Develops and implements kpis for success, reporting via scorecards
Monitors profitability and executes process improvements for improvements
Maintains staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees.
Ensures a safe, secure, and legal work environment
Develops personal growth opportunities
Develops and maintains client relationships
Accomplishes staff results by communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results
Coaches, counsels, and disciplines employees
Develops, coordinates, and enforces systems, policies, procedures, and productivity standards.
Establishes strategic goals by gathering pertinent business, financial, service, and operations information
Defines objectives, identifies and evaluates trends and options, chooses a course of action, and evaluates outcomes
Accomplishes financial objectives by forecasting requirements, preparing an annual budget, scheduling expenditures, analyzing variances, and initiating corrective actions
Maintains quality service by enforcing quality and customer service standards, analyzing and resolving quality and customer service problems, and recommending system improvements
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
Assists business development in presentations, demonstrations and developing client sow
Other duties as assigned
Supervisory responsibilities: this position has supervisory responsibilities.
Hs diploma; associate’s degree or bachelor’s degree in business administration or management a plus
3-5 years of management experience (preferably in an operations or production environment)
Experienced in managing onsite and remote staff
Experienced working in medical records, healthcare, emrs/ehrs
Ability to work with little to no supervision
Excellent time management and organizational skills
Excellent communication skills
Ability to learn new systems and technology quickly
Proficiency with office software
While performing the duties of this position the employee is regularly required to sit and talk and hearThe employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle or feel and reach with hands and armsThe employee is required to stand, walk, and drive or ride in a motor vehicleThe employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 lbsMust have the ability to travel, with occasional after hours or weekend hours required.
This job is a remote position and operates in a home office, clerical type settingThis role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
