Summary of major responsibilities: the purpose of the senior national sales training manager position is to develop and lead corporate office and field based training programs to enhance commercial effectivenessThe primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to, identifying and leading training opportunities, developing curriculum, and facilitating training programs and field-based training through collaboration with the leadership and marketing teamsThe senior national sales training manager is an important link in the continuous learning feedback loop that is designed for on-going assessment and optimization in exact sciences’ sales executionThis role will partner and support the health information technology (hit) team membersEssential duties and responsibilities:
Communicate with senior leadership on the planning, execution, and measurement of our training programs impacting our commercial team.
Work on coordinated projects that involve cross-functional teams that impact the strategy of the commercial team.
Influence members of the commercial effectiveness team to develop skills in needs identification, curriculum development, and facilitation of training.
Work on elevated projects that have direct/indirect impact on the teams this role supports.
Create and execute developmental programs that increase the impact of the leaders.
Work with vendors on the design, pricing, and execution of innovative training programs.
Design, develop, and implement new hire curriculum and learning resources; including, but not limited to, product information, selling skills, business analytics, and territory management.
Provide developmental coaching and feedback to team members in 1:1 coaching sessions, as well as in group training environments.
Ability to translate healthcare technology and current trends that equates to patient outcomes and lead to the training of those concepts to the team.
Connect and understand market trends/updates and translate into meaningful updates for the customer-facing team.
Lead the development of digital training resources for on-demand learning on the learning management system (lms).
Conduct training via virtual and live training methods.
Maintain confidentiality and enforce sales training and exact sciences’ policies.
Comply with all exact sciences’ operational guidelines and code of conduct and ensure that all activities, observed or taught, are also in accordance with these guidelines.
Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills.

Support and comply with the company’s quality management system policies and procedures.
Regular and reliable attendance.
Ability to work nights and/or weekends, as needed.
Ability to work on a mobile device, tablet, or in front of a computer screen and/or perform typing for approximately 90% of a typical working day.
Ability and means to travel between madison locations.
Ability to travel 50% of working time away from work location, may include overnight/weekend travel.
Qualifications: minimum qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in business administration or field related to the essential duties of the job; or high school degree/general education diploma and 4 years of relevant experience related to the essential duties in lieu of bachelor’s degree.
8+ years of sales or commercial experience.
3+ years of leadership or commercial training experience.
2+ years of experience in healthcare information technology; including, but not limited to, electronic health record vendor, population health management vendor, healthcare it at a health system, and healthcare data engineer.
Advanced skills in project management and communication to include the development and delivery of effective presentations.
Basic computer skills to include internet navigation, email usage, and word processing.
Authorization to work in the united states without sponsorship.
Demonstrated ability to perform the essential duties of the position with or without accommodation.
Master’s degree in business administration or field related to the essential duties of the job.
Experience in primary care sales.
Experience in gi specialty sales.
Experience in inside sales.
Challenger sales model experience.
Product launch or expansion launch experience.
Experience leading advisory groups and mentoring
Sales coaching and documentation experience.
