About this location : clinical systems analyst – application support background – napa has a need for subject matter experts in the field of clinical software applications, with a primary focus on provider application supportThis individual will be responsible for leading and owning system configuration and integrations, updates and rollouts, uat testing, and internal support among other activitiesThe clinical systems analyst (application support) will report to the clinical systems manager and work closely across napa’s cross-functional teams, staying on top of business needs and specifications while ensuring that requirements are fulfilled.
The clinical systems analyst (application support) will provide front end clinical user support, technical analysis, and assistance to users of the various clinical support systems and other platforms including, but not limited to, the following responsibilities:
Analysis of user needs and requirements
Configuration and integration responsibilities
User acceptance testing
Problem reporting and resolution
Creation of user documentation and training materials as needed
Prior experience with anesthesia aims, emr and scheduling systems and digital billing preferred but not requiredStrong customer support experience in a fast paced clinical environment a plusPosition responsibilities:
General description:
Coordinate between the departmental users and the various divisions of it.
Provide day-to-day operational support for clinical applications.
Control and manage production system issues.
Coordinate modifications and updates to the aforementioned systems and any other ancillary being supported by business systems team.
Integration and support of all clinical applications.
Provide tier 2 support for clinical systems/applications as a subject matter expert (sme).
Recommend improvements and efficiency initiatives for the clinical application platformsAnd other supported systems/applications.
Assist with coordination of vendor activities including scheduled and unscheduled downtime.
Provide proactive monitoring of the supported applications/systems provided.
Maintain accurate and current documentation regarding supported systems/applications including system maintenance and down time notifications.
Position requirements:
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, health informatics, or a related fieldExperience will be considered in place of a degree
It experience in a patient care setting, medical center, or healthcare environment preferred.
Background with clinical, scheduling or aims digital billing and software is a plus.
Self-starter with the ability to work remotely 80% of the time.
Ability to manage several projects simultaneously.
Strong technical skills
Strong problem solving and analytical skills and communication skills.
Anesthesiology background strongly recommended.
Ability to analyze data and make recommendations
Strong microsoft office skills including word, excel, and powerpoint
Demonstrative understanding of technical documentation
Highly professional written and verbal communication skills
Excellent critical thinking skills
Ability to communicate effectively with people at all levels in the organization
Ability to motivate team members
Eager to learn; exceptional listening skills
Excellent interpersonal and follow-up skills
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision as part of a larger team
Must be able to multi-task effectively
Hold access to employee and organizational data in strict confidence
Provide off-hours coverage as needed
Must possess project management skills
Ability to support and manage multiple systems
Some travel to user sites may be optional during system go_live and rollouts.
