Full job description
Education/experience:
· associate degree in project management, computer science, engineering, or related field.
· one to three years’ experience in a customer supporting role or managing implementation projects.
· experience in a healthcare setting or working with medical claims, electronic medical record systems, hospitals, and medical practices
· jira, confluence, ms office, ms project, ms visio, servicenow (preferred but not required)
Preferences:
· working knowledge of medicaid it operations and support organizations.
· ability to set priorities and deliver objectives without the need of day-to-day supervision.
· must be a self-starter, work independently and be able to work well under pressure.
Primary responsibilities:
· experience in a healthcare setting or working with electronic medical record systems, hospitals, and medical practices
· manage approximately 30-50 small implementation projects at various stages in the implementation process
· proactively communicates carefully and effectively with customers and project manager.
· work with the various internal teams and vendor teams to coordinate the implementation efforts.
· accurately documents and specifies information in the tracking system during the entire track life cycle.
· able to provide a written summary and resolution to the designated staff.
· lead technical discussions with new projects to determine ability to meet minimal technical requirements
· manage technical resources and keep connection on track based on project plan; manage and triage issues
· work with internal teams to manage and escalate issues and requests
· report on issue and task status including target completion dates, scope impact, and risks
· actively pursues problem resolution until the problem is resolved using escalation where appropriate
· develops an understanding of the customer’s business and it objectives to ensure positive business outcomes for the customer
· tracks daily operational status of issues and provides briefings/updates as needed.
· collects and documents customer requirements for managed service requests.
· performs other duties as assigned.
