Full job description
Tüv süd america inc., a global leader in testing, inspection, and certification, has an immediate opening for a project coordinator team lead - eastern region based in the eastern region of the united states.
Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Report to regional manager on team performance.
Monitor team kpis and workload.
Provide mentorship and coaching to the team.
Support team members with individual training and development plans.
Manage team schedule to ensure no disruption to the business.
Organize & moderate regular team meetings.
Act as a point of contact for; questions, concerns, issues, customer complaints.
Escalate issues to regional manager.
Monitor progress of cleanup of dormant projects assigned to team members.
Support flow business / house accounts by being the primary point of contact for customer rfqs.
Utilize internal resources to create quotations for customers.
Manage crm records for flow business / house accounts.
Support account executive(s) by collaborating to process customer rfqs.
Process won orders within the crm system.
Promptly address calls and e-mails.
Setup and create projects in tüv süd project management system.
Update and maintain projects in the tüv süd project management system.
Prepare and deliver customer order confirmations.
Coordinate activities covering the entire scope of a project.
As needed, work with customers to obtain information/documentation relevant to the project.
Participate in regular meetings with operations to discuss project status.
Communicate with team members via email or calls regarding any project changes or status updates.
Consult and involve team members to meet the scheduled completion date.
Monitor project schedules, activities, and progress.
Coordinate any outsourced services when required.
As needed, provide daily/weekly updates to customers.
Ensure proper invoicing of each project upon its completion.
Coordinate with central billing department and account payables department for any invoicing issue.
Address all customer questions.
Process any required orders through mybuy (procurement portal).
This job may be for you if:
Bachelor’s degree (b.a.) in technical or business area, or equivalent experience.
3 years experience in an office setting, ideally in a project management environment.
Demonstrate experience managing a team.
Provides customer support to external customers regularly.
Experienced in project planning & scheduling.
Familiar with data analysis.
