Who are we?
The service center is a team of virtual assistants and virtual receptionists who handle inbound and outbound calls and other administrative tasks for many small businesses throughout the countryWe are looking for a work-from-home customer-oriented service representative.
What is a customer-oriented service representative?
A customer service representative, or csr, will act as a liaison, provide product/services information and resolve any emerging problems that our callers might face with accuracy and efficiencyThe best csrs are genuinely excited to help callersThey’re patient, empathetic, and passionately communicativeThey love to converse with peopleCustomer service representatives can put themselves in their caller's shoes and advocate for them when necessaryCustomer feedback is priceless, and csrs will gather that for our clientsProblem-solving comes naturally to customer care specialistsThey are confident at troubleshooting and investigate if they don’t have enough information to resolve customer complaintsThey gather appropriate information from the caller, and relay that to our business owner clientsThe target is to ensure excellent service standards, respond efficiently to customer inquiries and maintain high customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
Manage large amounts of incoming and outgoing calls for multiple businesses
Generate sales leads
Schedule appointments through a variety of different calendaring platforms
Identify and assess customers’ needs to achieve satisfaction
Build sustainable relationships and trust with customer accounts through open and interactive communication
Provide accurate, valid and complete information by using the right methods/tools
Meet personal/customer service team sales targets and call handling quotas
Handle customer complaints, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives within the time limits; follow up to ensure resolution
Keep records of customer interactions, process customer accounts and electronically file documents
Follow communication procedures, guidelines and policies
Take the extra mile to engage customers
Multi-tasking various projects, programs and tasks all at once - all day long.
Proven customer support experience or experience as a client service representative
Track record of over-achieving quotas
Strong phone contact handling skills and active listening
Familiarity with crm systems and practices (hubspot, salesforce, etc.)
Customer orientation and ability to adapt/respond to different types of characters
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
High school diploma or ged
Highly skilled and experienced with using computers, computer programs such as calendars and emails, and a very good understanding of windows 10
Must be able to type at least 40 words per minute, with at least 95% accuracy (visit typingtest.com to practice or test)
Have or obtain (as well as continually maintain) a well-functioning computer that meets or exceeds expectations (see below)
Have access to high speed internet of a minimum 40 mbps (visit speetest.net to verify)
Must be able to work from home, for up to 10 hours per day without distraction or background noise (including but not limited to children, pets, television, radio, personal phone calls, etc.)
Minimum of 1 year experience in a phone-based customer service role(call center, or work from home telemarketer type experience) and/or 1 year experience in outbound phone calls for sales/service

We will be inviting each qualified applicant to join us for a group interview session where we will go over the basics of the job description, demonstrate a real call, give a basic introduction to software programs and then have a q&a session at the end.
Candidates who demonstrate attentiveness and adequate participation will be invited to participate in a formal questionnaire (like a survey) to expound on their qualities and characteristicsFrom those answers, a select few will be invited to participate in a second interview that will be one on one with one of our hiring managers.
Candidates who pass the second interview phase will then be invited to a third interview with the chief of staff which will also be conducted one on one.
At the conclusion of the third interview, an applicant will either be offered a position, or it will be determined to not be a good fit.
