Marketing/administrative assistant
We are looking for a talented individual to join our team in the critical role as social media coordinatorOur ideal candidate is a self-starter who is administratively gifted, creative, and passionate about going green and helping the environmentAs a social media coordinator, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining a strong online presence through our social media accountsThis includes but isn't limited to developing high-quality original content (posts, videos, etc.), suggesting creative ways to promote and expand our business, managing posts, and responding to followersYou should have excellent communication skills and be able to stay up to date with the latest digital technologies and social media trendsThis position is home based as most of our work is done virtually however there will some travel required to visit our other territories as well as some retreats and summits as needed.
Job responsibilities
Assist with a variety of administrative tasks to support leadership/management as needed
Act as the point of contact between the senior leaders and internal/external clients
Screen and direct partnership inquiries via phone and email correspondence
Route requests and general inquiries appropriately
Assist with meeting and travel schedule
Develop and implement organizational system for digital files
Social media coordinating
Design and implement a social media strategy to align with company's goals
Create, edit, publish and share engaging content (original text, photos, videos, etc.)
Oversee social media accounts' design and layout (e.gInstagram feed, facebook timeline, profile pictures, etc.)
Develop an optimal posting schedule, considering web traffic and customer engagement metrics
Communicate with followers, respond to queries promptly and monitor client review
Implement new and creative ways to expand our social media reach
Research audience preferences and discover current trends; stay up to date with changes in all social platforms ensuring maximum effectiveness
Train coworkers to use social media in a cohesive and beneficial way
Attend weekly staff meetings
Requirements
General qualifications
Previous experience (or related experience) as a personal assistant and/or social media coordinator
High school degree or equivalent
Excellent written/verbal communication, organizational, and time management skills
Ability to multitask and prioritize daily workload
Adaptable team player who's excited to learn new skills and assist the needs of the management team
Knowledge of office management systems and procedures
Ms office and english proficiency
Discretion and confidentiality
Social media coordinating
Ability to deliver high-quality creative content (text, image, video, etc.) that aligns with the companies mission and vision
Working knowledge of multiple social media platforms and online marketing strategies
Ability to research social media and digital marketing trends, then present and apply this knowledge to expand digital reach
