As deputy program you will support the general manager lead and operate the advanced innovation and federal solutions groups at akitaboxYou will be key to assisting the gm execute the strategic growth plan and priorities for both business units and fulfill the duties of the gm in their absence alongside key duties assignedYou will be responsible for contract/subcontract management, capture support, program/project planning and execution management to include financial management, team development and management and related operational support for both the federal solutions and innovation business linesAdditionally, you will be responsible for assisting in the supporting and strengthening of key business relationships and partnerships critical for the success of federal solutions and innovation business lines.

Drafting, reviewing and revising contracts, scopes of work, vendor and subcontract agreements in support of federal and innovation businesses
Plan and manage the end-to-end execution of key projects in accordance with contractual obligations, to include overseeing subcontractor performance
Work with the gm to identify and execute on current and emerging federal project requirements, working both internally with team members and respective departments leads as well as external partners;
Participate in sales and marketing support efforts to build innovation and federal government brand awareness as requested;
Key contributing author in developing proposal responses, white papers, technical presentations to support sales planning and capture efforts;
Internally support or capture development efforts with kickoff and bid planning, solution development, competitive analysis, teaming and pricing as required to support capture and business development activities
Support contract modifications with revised cost estimates and statements of work for active projects and respective flow down changes for subcontractors
Work with the gm to build and execute on partnership strategy to provide capabilities and services for integrated akitabox delivery on current and emerging projects;
Support and strengthen key business relationships critical for the success of federal solutions and innovation business lines;
Partner and subcontract management to include developing teaming agreements, pricing and delivery models as well as financial management on active projects;
Ability to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and other stakeholders
Experience in working with large enterprise or federal government clients and understanding of construction/maintenance/facilities operations would be a plus;
Demonstration of successful performance as an assistant project manager or senior project engineer on small to medium sized projects;
Ability to resolve problems and to be comfortable in complex project or business environments;
Organized with ability to set and maintain high standards of self performance with responsibility and accountability for successfully completing assignments and tasks;
Experience managing complex projects remotely with a virtual team;
Technical and business writing skills;
Ability to learn and apply knowledge of applicable local, state/province, and federal/national statutes and guidelines;
Ability to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner;
Prior capture leadership role at mid to large firm doing business with the u.sFederal government
Experience managing federal, state/local government and commercial proposals
Working knowledge and understanding of the government acquisition process, the far and acquisition strategy development
Ability to obtain and maintain a federal government clearance is preferred but not required.
Four (4) year degree or global equivalent in applicable field of study
Three (3) years of work-related experience at a management consulting firm or an equivalent other position;
Some travel may be required.
Project management professional (pmp) certification or related relevant certification
Familiarity or working knowledge of built and natural infrastructure programs
Familiarity with programs such as autocad; revit; rsmeans and akitabox
Prior experience supporting the us department of defense or affiliated branches
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
