Auto trakk, a growing regional automobile finance company, is searching for an area sales manager (asm) in our northern florida marketThis position on auto trakk’s sales team requires experience in the auto finance industry, specifically in sub-primeThe asm is responsible for promoting and representing the auto trakk leasing program to new car and independent automobile dealers, by supporting existing dealer partners and enrolling new dealers to meet contract purchase and performance objectivesAn asm performs in-person dealership visits and provides the communication required to establish and maintain relationships, achieve sales objectives and expediently resolve customer, dealership and/or company issues that may arise.
Responsibilities:
Manage an assigned territory within a defined geographic area (northern florida);
Perform an average of 30 to 40 dealer visits per week;
Enroll and train new dealerships in the auto trakk program;
Actively support your dealers with the auto trakk program to maximize their results;
Effectively work with internal departments (underwriting, funding and servicing) to ensure first class service to our dealers and customers;
Achieve stated market performance goals; and
Building long-term and mutually beneficial dealer relationships.
Requirements:
Three years of subprime automotive sales experience working directly with dealers;
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
Extensive travel and the ability to travel in a car for extended periods of time;
Sound analytic and computer skills and an understanding of automobile leasing and structuring deals;
Self-motivated with a strong desire to succeed and ability to work independently; and
A four-year degree or a certificate that represents a further level of sales training is preferred.
