In this role, you have the opportunity to
Be responsible for the success of the power solutions program in the given geography by achieving business financial targets, such as, year-over-year (yoy) growth and cost managementSuccess for the power program is defined by growth and development of power solutions capture for both post install and new system power solutions by providing technical consulting and power solutions proposals to customers, service and equipment sales, project managers, district service managers, national support specialist (nss) and field service engineers (fse).
This position resides and is responsible for the midwest zone (ohio, kansas, kentucky to minnesota and the dakotas).
You are responsible for (but not limited to)
Consultative leadership
Develop strategies for selling power solutions for zone success
Provide training for new programs, products to fses, rsms, ams
Mentor and develop power champions and field service engineers to support power program initiatives by providing training, education, and feedback through one-on-one conversations, cct meetings and webinars.
Provide feedback to district service managers with recommendations for fse technical training needs.
Report program status to service management on a timely basis.
Develop power solution related sales proposals to meet customer needs.
Serves on project assignments as a field expert contributing knowledge to both resolution of problems or application of engineering service memo as to changes in the product.
Demonstrate expert knowledge of power solutions and maintains a body of knowledge on technical advances and current industry trends.
Conduct site visits and/or consults with fse over the phone to assist with sales opportunities.
Support customer satisfaction by understanding complex problems, collecting data, identifying root cause, and developing appropriate solutions as well as timely reporting of technical and product issues.
Financial/accountability
Drive target lists for ups pms & battery replacements
Track and validate ups sales on new orders
Hold accountability meetings for district success twice a month
Attend business result champion zone calls
Partner with national power program manager for additions to the program
Maintain zone visibility to performance against aop
Validate, track and report on the opportunity funnels (win/loss) for special campaigns, upgrades, and programs
Customer ownership
Attend cct meetings
Establish and foster a good working relationship with sales account managers, sales specialists, and district sales managers to increase power solutions sales at capital equipment point of sale.
Communicate power product notifications to the field
Manage zone power monitoring program; define appropriate follow up on all monitoring reports
Consult with rsms to develop solutions for poor power monitoring survey results.
Consultative support for ams & rsms with customer meetings for ups/power options
Liaison between philips and 3rd party vendors
Establish and foster a good working relationship with sales account managers, sales specialists, and district sales managers to increase power solutions sales at capital equipment point of sale.
Drive power initiatives (power audits, power monitoring, ups pm and battery replacement, etc.) within the zone and achieve set aop revenue targets.
Escalate, owns and drive the power solutions program through the appropriate channels and teams members.
Subject matter expert for power related customer inquiries
Works with facility engineers, radiology department or end user on technical evaluation of power needs and to develop sales proposals for customizable solutions to resolve existing power issues.
Act as power specialist on the front end of equipment sale to provide consultation and power solution options for the customer proposal—may be involved in both direct and indirect sales opportunities with customers.
Asset management
Manage company assets effectively including company vehicle, business expenditures, etcPer company policy or procedure.
Perform all duties in a complete and timely manner per policies and procedures.
To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience
Bachelor’s degree preferred, with related experience.
Minimum 5 years related work experience in medical device industry or project/program management.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to convey complex technical or electrical terminology into understandable terms.
Ability to work cohesively and effectively with employees and customers at all levels within and outside of philips.
Experience in a technical coaching and mentoring capacity.
Technical sales support and leadership experience preferred.
Excellent ‘stand up’ presentation skills (ccts, zone and customer meetings)
Ability to effectively work through others and drive processes to obtain desired outcomes.
Detail orientation, ability to multi-task, and change focus quickly to meet customer needs.
Travel 25%
