We are seeking an innovative and passionate project manager to oversee self-paced training content development who shares our vision of bringing the power of self-paced training to learnersProject managers are experienced project management professionals responsible for overseeing the production of all self-paced training deliverablesThey work closely with various technical and non-technical team members; managing and running detailed, complex, strategic technical and educational projectsOur project managers for self-paced training content are experts who own the end delivery of the training portfolio releases and work across the organization to deliver new content through the release processThey are responsible for developing project plans, schedules, resourcing, quality gates, and release gates to ensure the content meets all standards.
What you’ll achieve:
3 months:
Complete salesforce and mulesoft onboarding programs
Become familiar with mulesoft’s existing training portfolio, curriculum developers and the training portfolio roadmap
Attend mulesoft training courses
Ramp on curriculum development tools and processes
12 months:
Create and manage self-paced training project plans; monitor and review project progress and timelines, adjust schedules and plans as needed, and identify and resolve issues to ensure project success
Ensure on time and on budget delivery of projects while also ensuring that project gates and governance are properly adhered to during the execution of the project
Track utilization of project resources and manage this against the resource allocations
Manage day-to-day execution of project implementations, and assist with the planning, tracking, vendor management, documentation and status updates for the project
During the course of a self-paced training project, be the primary project interface and perform project management activities that ensure adherence to mulesoft training methodology, project gates, and governance
Facilitate requirements gathering and assisting with the creation of project deliverables, as needed
Apply direction for configuration / customization of the mulesoft self-paced training materials
Adopt a standardized development lifecycle methodology for all self-paced training projects
Identify opportunities to leverage all mulesoft training course content in a self-paced training modality
Facilitate review sessions with individuals and team
Participate in end-to-end implementation planning including project management, issue management, communication, and change management
As necessary, write and review qa and usability studies
Manage usability studies with end users including coordination with various stakeholders
Prepare user documentation and training documentation as necessary
Leverage business knowledge and expertise to drive process improvements
Establish and maintain trusted relationships with project stakeholders by providing a self-paced training development roadmap, project updates, status, and remediation steps
Work with stakeholders to design and implement instructor enablement plans as needed for new and/or updated self-paced courses
Resolve issues regarding missed deadlines, resource availability, and budgets
Analyze, evaluate and make recommendations based on data from an annual self-paced training survey, the learning management system, usability studies, support tickets, the training course forum posts, and course sentiment surveys
Monitor course forums and maintain its currency to ensure the success of the learners
What you’ll need to be successful:
Pmp certification or 5-10 years experience in a project management role
5-10 years experience in managing projects in positions of increasing responsibility
Demonstrated history of delivering high quality results on schedule and within budget
Demonstrated project management skills with teams of up to 10+ people
Demonstrated project leadership skills, with direct responsibility for managing project teams and schedule
Ability to manage and communicate with remote/global vendors, developers and team members during non-traditional business hours
Demonstrated negotiation, conflict management, and leadership skills
Outstanding and effective interpersonal skills, along with strong communication skills both verbal and written
Strong business acumen and in-depth analytical skills
Ability to weigh business and technical requirements to produce project plans and estimates
Ability to work effectively in a fast paced, high energy, team-oriented environment
Ability to multi-task and perform effectively under pressure
