Job summary: the red hat people (hr) team is looking for a senior program manager to join our leadership development teamIn this role, you will support the development and engagement of open leaders across the companyYou will be part of a diverse, global team, and work collaboratively with hr business partners, center of excellence (coe) teams, external strategic partners, and business leadersYou will provide consultative support and serve as a liaison primarily for functional and regional based leadership initiatives and programsYou will also provide as-needed program management support for global leadership programs under the integrated people solutions (ips) leadership development portfolioAs a senior program manager, your success will be measured by your ability to create and manage successful consulting engagements with the business, facilitate and integrate connections across the hr team, and influence program alignment with the hr team and corporate strategiesYou will work under the general oversight of the senior principal leadership architect and senior leadership development program managerYour direct reporting relationship, for administrative purposes, will be to the creative services manager for ipsSuccessful applicants must reside in a state where red hat is registered to do businessPrimary job responsibilities:
Assess business needs for leadership development experiences that require an intensive, cohort-based learning design
Advise on the design, integration, management, and evaluation of open leadership development experiences
Collaborate with strategic business partners and vendors when necessary to support the program design and delivery
Connect business customers or collaborators with the appropriate people and resources who support open leadership within the hr team
Create engagement plans to guide consulting projects, with special attention to cooperation with the talent coe and red hat university
Advise on and coordinate governance checkpoints when programs have potential resource and alignment implications for the hr team
Engage in program planning with other members of the team, offering perspectives particularly in the areas of fulfillment efficiency, stakeholder management, associate experience, and service delivery
Establish and sustain an open leadership community to exchange best practices, support continuous learning, and provide a conduit for input and feedback
Contribute to and deliver on detailed project plans for other leadership programs provided by the ips leadership development team
Provide regular status updates of progress against engagement and project plans
Escalate risks to the principal program manager and senior principal leadership architect as appropriate
Produce and deliver timely assessments and reports of program status, risks, and obstacles
Maintain appropriate transparency and alignment with the executive sponsors and other stakeholders
Bachelor's degree that provides a solid foundation for program management, adult learning, and consulting
5+ years of experience designing, delivering, and managing high potential leadership programs
Excellent consulting skills and experience involving global leadership development strategies and solutions
Experience working directly with executive leaders
Solid written and verbal communications skills
Change management expertise in mindset and behavior change
Ability to positively influence others (without authority) through building solid relationships and professional credibility
Experience developing and implementing evaluation methods to assess program strengths and identify areas for improvement
