Overview: pk is seeking a program delivery manager.
This role will be responsible for managing and overseeing the execution of api development projects in an azure environment across multiple teams in a large enterpriseThe program delivery manager will manage assignments and development team performance, ensure cross-team alignment and cohesion, and act as a single point of contact for client stakeholdersAlso, this role will refine and product delivery methods, metrics and reporting throughout the project based upon client needsResponsibilities:
Will work independently with technical and business stakeholders.
Understanding business problems and lead high-level exploration.
Effectively communicate both at an executive and technical delivery level(thoughtful, efficient, sensitive to perception, customer centered, with attention to detail).
Deliver highly strategic projects with executive visibility and high variability where scope and services therein are dynamic due to client need, business value, and resource availability.
Interact with clients and instill confidence with regards to technical project delivery, client expectations, and problem solving within project constraints to ensure the client receives maximum business value from each engagement.
Understand and prioritize project activities at a tactical and at a strategic level.
Inspire teams by influence, not authority.
Identify sales opportunities for additional project work when managing a delivery engagement with a client.
Proactively identify project risks along with risk mitigation ownership.
Define and manage team roles and responsibilities to ensure effective communication and collaboration across development team(s).
Strong working knowledge of agile software delivery methodologies and their practical application to project delivery.
Demonstrated experience in adapting processes to balance both team and client needs.
Strong, demonstrated experience in managing roles and responsibilities across multiple teams with conflicting priorities through influence, not authority.
Experience in project budget management, especially t&m model projects.
Experience working within a consultancy serving enterprise-level clients, including business objective comprehension and analysis.
Demonstrated experience in comprehensive project ownership (quality delivery, client satisfaction, profitability, and internal resource management), as shown through a project portfolio.
Demonstrated experience in team leadership and coordinating technical experts without direct supervisory responsibility.
Experience in communicating with a variety of customers and clients, understanding their needs, and balancing their requirements to produce a broadly usable product.
Strong communicator able to discuss project and program value across all levels of the organization (e.g., senior leadership, program and product management, development teams).
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively.
5+ years of experience of software related project delivery.
3+ years of experience in team leadership and agile development.
Understand of api products and the importance of api consumer experience.
Significant experience in an agile software development environment including scrum, kanban, and other agile methodologies.
Knowledge of software architecture.
