The program manager, mrr operations works within the medical records retreival division and is responsible for identifying, developing and leading strategic initiatives tied to improving business performance, scaling operations, and expanding the scope of servicesThe program manager, mrr operations collaborates cross-functionally and with external stakeholders to stand up new programs and projects and execute on high-impact deliverablesThe individual in this role leverages analytical and problem-solving acumen and operational expertise to promote operational excellence across episource.
Essential duties & responsibilities:
Develop and communicate a strategic vision, solution, and corresponding project plan when solving complex problems
Design and drive process and workflow implementation with internal and external stakeholders
Develop accurate reporting to drive continuous improvement while enabling visibility into project operating and outcome metrics
Identify the root cause of operational weaknesses and help to implement the right solution
Build and maintain strong cross-functional relationships and provide effective leadership on collaborative projects
May be assigned other duties
Must be able to handle phi / pii data in a secure work environment
Must maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures
Metrics of success for the program manager, mrr operations role will include:
Success in taking large-scale initiatives from concept to completion
Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude
Ability to work independently and in teams to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines and standard accepted practices.
Develops and maintains strong relationships with all internal and external stakeholders
Qualifications / requirements:
Highly effective communication skills and the ability to build trust with people, teams, and stakeholders internally and externally
Experience in a data-driven operational work environment with continuous monitoring of program metrics
Comfort working in a fast-paced environment
Advanced ms excel skills required; sql skills preferred
Proficiency with ms office and g-suite (gmail, google sheets, etc.) required
7+ years of work experience as an analyst, preferably within healthcare services
Bachelor’s degree in healthcare, finance, business, industrial engineering and/or related field required
Knowledge of hipaa compliance rules and regulations a plus
Must be able to work independently with limited supervision
