Senior director, virtual care operations
Marathon health is seeking a full-time srDirector of virtual care operations to to manage our virtual care teams remotely and help develop our new virtual care service offeringThis position will be dually responsible for providing day-to-day operational oversight of our virtual care teams, as well as advocating for the strategic advancement of the virtual care serviceThis position will play a key role in pioneering a new way to deliver quality primary care virtually to patients nationwideOur ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience managing virtual clinical operations and developing a product or service line in the healthcare field.

Execute all necessary contractual requirements in a timely manner.
Understand and track risk metrics related to the success of the virtual care business line.
May serve as the lead point of contact for all customer needs/request or as a partner alongside a client advocate.
Analyze data from multiple sources to help define and drive additional value for our clients.
Salesforce documentation and reporting.
Analyze, summarize, report and manage performance data related to clinic operations including proactive identification & management of service issues.
Responsible for identifying and executing opportunities to engage employee population.
Develop a deep understanding and interest of population health and health care utilization data with the ability to articulate results - leveraging data to tell a story (relate and interpret data).
Help define and leverage the “coverage model” for assigned clients.
Identify and target revenue growth opportunities including new products or services.
Coordinate with the marketing team to develop and implement virtual care specific communication and incentive plans.
Care team management:
Drives the interviewing, hiring and onboarding processes in collaboration with internal teams.
Collaborates with clinical leaders on consistent and high quality service delivery.
Direct oversight of operations and personnel of the virtual care teams consisting of physicians, behavioral health counselors, rn health coaches, etcThis includes conducting performance reviews, growth and development plans and performance improvement plans as necessary.
Work closely with the providers, clinical teams and hq teams in the coordination of patient care to ensure day-to-day health center operations are conducted in an efficient and professional manner.
Responsible for meeting virtual care business line metrics and goals including reviewing the dashboard each month and assisting teams with action plans as applicable.
Responsible for virtual care team scheduling to ensure staffing is adequate and within budget and time off is covered.
Manage and provide input into the operational virtual care budgets which includes staffing and any other controllable expenses.
Coach and mentor virtual care teams on providing excellent customer service and assisting with resolution of patient complaints.
Bachelor’s degree in business or healthcare field required, master's degree is a plus
5+ years of demonstrated experience supervising and managing clinical teams, experience managing virtual teams is a plus.
Experience developing a service or product line is strongly preferred
Understanding of medical terminology
Knowledge of computers & electronic medical record systems
Multitasking is a critically important skillset in this role as they have to have the ability to think and act quickly to assist in the day to day while also not dropping strategic aspects of their role
Experience with process improvement strongly preferred
