Apriori is currently seeking a commercial operations analyst to join our growing teamThe charter for this role is to accelerate the sales cycle by partnering with our sales team throughout the sales process to develop deal structures and quotes in support of sales outcomes, while maintaining compliance with internal contract and revenue policiesThe deal desk analyst will proactively manage the deal flow and collaborate with stakeholders across sales, customer success, legal and finance to move deals through internal processes and approvals.
Subject matter expert and primary contact for quoting, contract policies and deal approval processes.
Develop in-depth knowledge of apriori pricing model, bookings and revenue policies, and licensing policies to provide support and guidance to our field team.
Work with the field team to build proposals, generate quotes and manage opportunities inside of salesforce while maintaining agreed upon deal turnaround times.
Trusted partner and liaison to the field teamWork with cross-functional stakeholders involved in the quoting process to structure acceptable deal terms and facilitate deal closure.
Accurately process quotes in our internal systems and ensure that the deal structures are properly reflected in salesforce for bookings, arr & forecasting purposes.
Monitor and resolve order processing related issues such as missing paperwork, licensing or provisioning questions and/or sync errors with finance systems.
Coordinate review and completion of documents in support of the sales cycle, such as rfps, rfqs, security assessments, vendor questionnaires, etc.
Track current status for all commercial documents on active opportunities to provide visibility to sales leadership and other stakeholders and proactively identify and mitigate issues for deals that have slowed down or stalled in the process.
Assist the sales team in guiding non-disclosure agreements through internal review and signature processes.
Monitor expiring contracts, create renewal quotations and collaborate with sales and customer success to issue renewal quotes to customers.
3+ years experience in a deal desk, contracts or sales operations role at a b2b technology company
Proficiency in microsoft excel
Strong working knowledge of salesforce and salesforce cpq – docusign clm a plus
Basic understanding of revenue recognition treatments/policies
Highly organized and attentive to detail
Strong communication skills – ability to build relationships with a variety of cross-functional internal and external stakeholders
Professional demeanor and “customer first” attitude.
Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously in a fast paced, demanding environment, and drive consensus among stakeholders to bring business to closure
