Work for a boutique bookkeeping firm with a special focus on the medical fieldJoin us in building one-of-a-kind business that serves a niche of affluent clientsYou will have flexibility of hours and location of work and will have the opportunity to grow with the organization as we expand our business.
This position is the good fit if you have experience in cloud-based technologies and working remotely.
Experience and duties:
You will be managing multiple client bookkeeping projects daily, on multiple different systems and communicating with your team and ensuring delivery and client satisfaction daily, as well work on a strict monthly accounting cycle, respond quickly to client requests, sometimes on tight deadlinesThe position start's as part time with ability to grow into full time within six monthsAs such, the ability to communicate clearly via video, email, and telephone is critical.

Detailed knowledge of and experience with quickbooks and xero
5+ years of public accounting experience
Solid understanding of debit and credits a must
Tech savvy and quick learner
Detail-oriented and strong organizational skills
Proactive, with ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Customer service skills and ability to communicate effectively with affluent clients
Success in a virtual environment
A dedicated, secure, and quiet room to work from home with no interruptions to conduct video calls
Have a strong, consistent internet connection
Ability to manage deadlines of various client accounts
Ability to multitask to manage multiple clients simultaneously
Self-assured, capable, comfortable and adept in both written and video client communication to clearly and effectively
Enjoys working and communicating directly with the client
Self-starter – able to identify work that needs to be done and do it without being instructed to do so.
Proficiency with technology including microsoft suite, zoom, xero, quickbooks, dropbox, sharefile, asana, clickup are all plusesMust have the ability to quickly learn new platforms.
