About the position
The account manager, clean transportation role acquires, manages, and grows business relationships that entrust us to manage their lcfs and other clean fuels assetsTarget clients own and operate fleets of electric vehicles (ev) and equipment as well the charging stations that power themYou’ll work in defined market segments that include public agencies and private commercial organizations, large and small, with sites mostly in california, but increasingly across north americaThis role reports to the managing director who leads day to day strategic and operational elements within the clean transportation business unit.

Develop and manage relationships.
Find, cultivate, and win new clients while also growing existing client accounts.
Create, work, and maintain target list(s) of prospects and partners for assigned segments.
Qualify need for srectrade services, educating and enrolling stakeholders with thoughtful account plans.
Provide advice, information, and solutions structure suited to the client and marketYou will be a primary resource for growth-related questions with internal partners for service-related questions.
Secure new clients by extending and executing engagement agreements for srectrade services.
Within your assigned market segment, manage resource partners that help access prospective clients.
Enter and maintain account, contact and opportunity related information with company crm systems to enable systematic management of a large, diverse, and well-management sales funnel.
Liaise with regulators and applicable entities to benefit srectrade clients and service.
Develop, maintain, and apply market knowledge.
Gain & apply knowledge of market forces influencing client need and contracting for srectrade services.
Gain & apply knowledge of the regulation and srectrade services in order to secure and grow clients.
Research and report as needed/assigned on implications of current and evolving market forces, regulation, competition, pricing trends, etc.
Administration and continuous improvement.
Identify, define, and help build better ways to work e.gMarket strategy, process, sales tools, etc.
Identify new or revised service offerings, working with the ops, admin, and technology teams as needed.
Develop broader understanding on how various ec programs intersect, provide benefits to srectrade clients, and can be better administered, sold, and managed as a portfolio.
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written.
Travel for client meetings and trade events as needed.
Can-do attitudeHappy to take on projects, wear multiple hats, and get the job done as needed.
Strong time, task, and project management skillsExceptional attention to detail.
Proficiency with ms office (excel, word, powerpoint), pdf programs, crm systems (e.gSalesforce).
Preferred knowledge and experience:
Sales and account management to public or private commercial business accounts.
California low carbon fuel standard (lcfs), oregon clean fuel program (cfp), and/or other clean fuel regulatory programs
Alternative fuel (aka clean transportation) equipment and operators and/or renewable energy
Prefer major metro areas of california and massachusetts.
Distributed u.sLocations will also be considered.
