The financial consulting advisory services consultant is responsible for driving strategic insights for the businesses they're working with by helping to simplify the complexities that are faced in specific business industriesThis person will both form and guide finance organizations to move away from being result reporters, and rather find ways to provide forward looking data with strategic insights that can be leveraged to make better business decisionsWe strive to provide efficiency of processes as well as an environment of simple checks and balances which allows for speed of accurate financial reporting.
This person will work directly with owners and the senior leadership team to align and prioritize initiatives that should be expected from a cfoExamples of these would be erp/financial system execution, accounting policies and procedures, financial statement close processes, process and controls implementation, technical accounting and finance/accounting assessment and designWe are the people who roll up our sleeves and get things doneWe bring solutions rather than problems and will take on complex tasks that others just won't touch.
You will be expected to establish and maintain client relationships through sales calls, client meetings, following up on deliverables, and maintaining rapport.

Key responsibilities:
Attend and chair effective client meetings
Exude eos principles and utilize them to drive progress
Work collaboratively with a diverse set of colleagues to serve clients in the areas of financial accounting matters and business processes
Prepare financial statements, typically in connection with raising capital, acquisitions, carve-outs, proposed sale transactions, restatements, etc.
Assist in the design and implementation of new policies and procedures
Assess and improve financial accounting close process; including accelerating and streamlining monthly and quarterly reporting processes
Establish and document best-in-class financial and operational internal controls
Oversee and manage financial reporting and operational system implementations
Assess and design finance and accounting organizational structure
Bring deep financial accounting expertise and leading practices to engagements
Manage multiple client engagement a the same time, ensure projects are on track, manage client expectations and perform course corrections when necessary
Manage and support associate consultant team
Onboard and train new-hire associate consultants
Assist in growing the firm by identifying and driving business development activities
Identify and sponsor internal initiatives
Skills and qualifications:
5+ years of relevant professional working experience working in client serving role at top-tier public accounting or financial advisory firm, and/or mix of client service and private industry experience at a mid to senior level
Proven experience successfully managing multiple projects at the same time, managing not only client/sponsor dynamics but internal team dynamics as well
Experience performing financial and operational internal control reviews
Knowledge of performing it assessments and financial system implementation experience is a plus
Confident and effective communicator
Bachelor's degree in accounting or related fieldCpa is a plus
Intermediate/advanced skill level within the office 365 suite
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Previous experience with erp architecture and implementation
Experience in training and coaching in new processes
Experience managing teams and driving productivity
