Essential duties include the following:
Administers all network applications in the environment to include configurations, reporting, monitoring, redundancy, upgrades, and troubleshooting, incident response and disaster recovery / business continuity for all network devices to include, but not limited to switches, routers, firewalls, load balancers, vpn and wireless.
Manages, maintains and monitors load balancer (f5 big-ip) infrastructure.
Assesses and investigates network issues related to work stoppage, access control and overall network performance.
Implements and advises on standards and procedures to ensure quality assurance, including change control and log monitoring.
Assists with and occasionally directs the activities of outsourced network projects.
Develops documentation of network communications, controls and functionality to include assisting in the development of policies and procedures for best practices.
Performs all other duties as assigned.
Serious candidates will possess the minimum qualifications:
Associates degree in information technology, computer science, information science, or related field.
Minimum five to seven (5-7) years of progressive network administration and engineering experience.
Cisco certified network associate a plus.
Cisco certified network professional a plus.
Cisco certified internetwork expert a plus.
Knowledge of business processes.
Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations.

Microsoft office suite skills.
Proficient cisco catos/nx-os skills.
