Plaid’s Design Operations team will play a critical role in scaling our centralized Design function including Brand Design, Product Design, Research, and Design Systems. As Design Operations Lead, you’ll partner with Design, Research, and Product Leadership to foster the people, practices, and processes that drive a healthy Design organization. The scope of Design Operations today includes tooling, vendor management, design process, planning, project management, and community programming. Initially, as a manager of one contractor, you’ll take a player-coach role to drive the most strategic components of Design Operations (strategy & planning, budget allocation, high-level execution systems), and as your team grows, you’ll dedicate your time to full-time people development.
In this role, you’ll act as the voice of Design in company-wide operational discussions and decisions, and own components of Plaid’s PDLC.
