Job description summary
Reporting to the senior director of total rewards, the hris & operations analyst supports the hr team by serving as the hr subject matter expert for workday (non-technical), leading all hr compliance activities, analyzing our partner arrangements, and enhancing the overall effectiveness of our hr operationsAs outlined below, there are three main focus areas for this role – hr technology, hr support & operations, and compliance.
Acts as main point of contact between hr and the workday technical team to ensure that existing hr processes are well supported and change applications are appropriately executed
Lead workday testing on behalf of the hr team
Train users on workday reporting functions and available reports
Works with the people analytics analyst to support the hr function by maximizing reporting and analytics capabilities in our hr systems
Assists in setting ccc’s broader hr technology strategy and system infrastructure
Periodically monitor quality of employee data in workday, including “ghost” positions and supervisory orgs and accurate categorization of contract workers
General hr support and operations
Create hr business process documentation and assist with developing an m&a handbook
Analyze vendor performance by reviewing internal and external data to ensure key objectives/slas are being met
Handle employment verification process as well as other tactical duties while also exploring external vendors for potential outsourcing capabilities
Assist in responding to business rfps on hr policies and process, including headcount reporting
Support and/or lead audits and background check activities related to business and hr processes
Complete eeo reporting and annual submission/certification
Ensure compliance with new state and local lawsResearch state changes, recommend changes as required, execute per approved plans
Ensure 100% completion of required onboarding activities for new hires (both ftes and contractors), including timely i9 submission
Ba/bs degree or equivalent experience.
Minimum of 3 years of hr operations, hris, or hr compliance experience
Advanced skills in microsoft suite.
Ability to draw conclusions and communicate results from large or multiple data sources.
Ability to identify trouble spots, interesting trends, service delivery issues to develop recommendations.
Ability to manage internal and external partner expectations
