We are looking for an it sales associate to be responsible for generating leads to closing salesIn addition to developing and nurturing new relationships, the it sales associate will collaborate closely with customers to determine their needs, answer their questions about our products and recommend the right solutionsThe sales associate should be able to promptly resolve customer complaints and ensure maximum client satisfactionTo be successful, it is imperative to stay up to date with product features and maintain the company`s lofty standards of customer service.
Responsibilities
Develops, expands, and maintains a portfolio of corporate clients
Assesses client it needs and makes recommendations, including it equipment and service packages that fit the needs of the client
Prepares sales presentations to pitch solutions to prospective clients
Negotiates sales, package discounts, and long-term contracts with clients
Provides technical advice after sales
Tracks progress toward goals and documents sales performance
Becomes deeply knowledgeable of all products and services offered by bytesocean, incVia diligent study and research of it trends and best practices
Answers questions, describes benefits, and discusses pros and cons of various competing products or services
Creates marketing literature and web-based features to promote products and time-sensitive sales
Ensures elevated levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service
Follows and achieves department’s sales goals on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis
Cross sells products
Handles returns of merchandise
Skills
Proven work experience in it sales is a plus, however, experience as a retail sales associate or similar role is acceptable
Knowledge of sales principles and customer service best practices
Proficiency in english necessary; all multilingual candidates welcome
Solid communication and people skills
A friendly and energetic personality with customer service focus
Ability to perform under pressure and address complaints in a timely manner
Negotiation, critical thinking, ability to meet goals, ability to work efficiently under pressure, motivation, ambition, diligence.
High school diploma: bs degree in marketing, information technology or related field would be a plus
Knowledge of audiovisual systems a plus, but not required
