Challenge yourself as a part of a dynamic, fast paced team and join bmc software! we are looking for an experienced contracts manager with a proven track record of providing outstanding and timely legal supportIn this role, you will serve as a trusted advisor to business, product and sales executives and drive strategic deals and initiatives with some of our largest customersYou will negotiate complex legal agreements and work with cross-functional teams of lawyers, finance and accounting specialists, product managers and sales teams in order to solve legal and business challengesYou will be part of a highly-collaborative, close-knit team and work in an exciting, fast paced environment.
What you will do every day:
Review, draft and negotiate a broad range of licensing, software as a service, data privacy, confidentiality, and professional services agreements
Be the first point of contact in legal for the sales organization
Identify, advise on and help resolve legal and business issues in a practical manner while still protecting bmc’s interests
Respond promptly for requests for help from internal clients.
Required 4-year college degree; jd not required
Minimum of 5 years’ experience drafting and negotiating complex technology-related/saas agreements in support of a sales organization
