The coding & him solutions account executive (ae) is responsible for prospecting and selling our coding and him servicesAquity coding and him solutions provide services including but not limited to staff augmentation, interim management, outsourcing, and audit servicesThe ae must be able to leverage coding industry knowledge in salesIt is expected that the ae will use their existing relationships/rolodex of contacts, in addition to any net new prospecting efforts to meet or exceed his/her annual sales quotaAdditional responsibilities include analyzing business processes, researching and proposing best-in-class improvement initiatives, and leading prospects through consulting servicesAn experienced change agent with an entrepreneurial spirit who is independent minded yet sensitive to the subtleties of organizational behavior and respectful of individual perspectivesThe coding ae will function as a subject matter expert on business process design and valuation.
Must have executive presence and aggressive approach to account identification and penetration
Be able to effectively demonstrate and communicate the valid business reasons, i.e., leveraging presentation while partnering with aquity providing the customer the best return on their investment
Experience in high interaction with revenue cycle management as well as c-level sales experience with an established rolodex of contactsConsistent outbound calling and prospecting activities including follow up
Must have a proven track record of selling coding services and/or him interim management
Self-starter who is detail oriented and able to establish and meet aggressive deadlines.
Must meet or exceed annual sales goal
Maintain a pipeline that is 3-4x quota
Forecast opportunities accurately according to the aquity sales process
Use salesforce.com daily to manage contacts, activities and opportunities
Collaborate with coding & him operations and client development team in providing consulting services to clientPartner with coding team during discovery and implementation
Participate in professional and industry associations such as hfma and ahima
Remain current and expert regarding industry trends
Responsible for and measured by new accounts revenue & renewal revenue with in jurisdiction, as assigned by management
Work closely with marketing in the development of leads and prospects both from a strategic and tactical level
Serve as a subject matter expert in change management, organizational design, process engineering and benchmarking
Advance the core ideologies of being metric driven and approaching problems using structured improvement methodologies
Speak at industry forums and participate in sales campaigns as directed
3-5+ years of healthcare sales experience with a successful track record of achieving new business development goals.
1-3 years’ experience selling coding and him services in a healthcare environment a plus.
Experienced in development and managing large projects
Skilled in statistical measurement principles
Proficiency with microsoft office products
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required
Up to 50% travel
