Database Engineer
Reveleer is a fast-growing SaaS based company in Glendale, CA. We empower managed care organizations nationwide to take control of their Risk Adjustment and Quality Improvement initiatives to improve quality of care and optimize revenue performance. As a Database Engineer, your primary responsibility will be to work with the database team and design, development, implementation, and operational support of our database systems within the engineering team. Our business requires full cycle data processing including data ingestion, processing, reporting and extraction.
What You'll Do:
- Partner with product, engineering, and operations team to deliver against product roadmap
- Design, development, implementation, and operational support of our database systems within the engineering team.
- Provide Database solution design, development, testing, and production deployment.
- Responsibilities include data ingestion, processing, reporting and extraction.
- Experience with ETL, OLTP, Datawarehouse structures and components as they are all part of our system.
About You:
- 5+ years of experience designing, developing, and managing enterprise-level databases using relational databases (SQL 2016, 2017, 2019)
- Strong understanding of software system design and implementation processes and especially back-end layer and typical components directly communicating with databases.
- Strong experience in logical/physical database designs and T-SQL language
- Design, develop, monitor, and performance tune database tables, views, indexes, stored procedures, functions, etc.
- Performance optimization and troubleshooting skills.
- Develop proof of concept to evaluate new architecture/technology for Database systems.

- Participate in code reviews and quality assurance processes to ensure that the architectures and standards are being followed.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment of engineers to meet aggressive goals and high-quality standards. Collaborate directly with stakeholders, product, and customers to ensure their business needs are met.
- Ability to solve technical problems independently. Strong problem-solving skills and determination to provide simple solutions to complex problems.
- Excellent communication and organization skills with ability to operate in a lean, fast-paced organization.
Preferred:
- Experience with cloud infrastructure preferably within AWS
- High level of RDBMS skills.
- Experience with Extract, Transform and Load (ETL) processes and Integration Services
- Experience with US Healthcare / Managed Care Organizations, specifically around Compliance and RISK Assessments programs
- Prior experience with .NET/C# is a plus
