Product Owner (Mobile App Team)

Combyne is a fast-growing mobile social network for creators. It's the fusion of a social platform, a game and a practical utility for combining outfits. Our community consists of millions of creators who gain confidence and joy by creating collaboratively. Combyne's vision is to digitize the usage of fashion. (Opposed to the commerce of fashion, which is already digitized)

Impact

If we succeed in digitizing the usage of fashion, we'll use the resulting data points to stop the massive overproduction in the fashion industry, which currently churns out 100 billion pieces of clothing per year for 7 billion people. The problem is so bad, some brands are burning unsold inventory. In the future, production decision should be based on data, not on guessing.

As a Product Owner at Combyne you will be joining a product team that has successfully built a consumer app that organically reaches over 1 million active users a month. You will be responsible for dedicated areas of our app in an extremely collaborative effort between product management, engineering, design, analytics and user-research teams.

Your mission ????

• Develop scope and define backlog items from epic to feature to user stories

• Develop detailed specifications for product features so that they are clearly understood by the development teams

• Define clearly written acceptance criteria and testing for user stories and product releases

• Proactively identify issues and opportunities for improvement by talking with our users

• Work actively with other product owners, product managers and developers to continuously improve the process

• Ensuring that the product backlog is transparent, visible and understood by the development and design teams

• 3+ years of experience specifying and shipping features at a consumer technology company (ideally native mobile product)

• Experience working on a combination of consumer products and business or platform oriented products

• Obsession about continuous product improvement and optimizations, resulting in a variety of small, medium and large releases

• Obsession about talking to users and understanding their needs

• Strong written and verbal communication skills with a precise talent for articulating user challenges
