As the Senior Product Manager for Activation, you will be responsible for the early patient experience, from the point of application to starting our life-changing medical-nutritional therapy. This is a critical part of our patient journey in which Virta educates, encourages, and empowers our patients to embark on a major lifestyle change that is supported by our technology and clinical expertise. In this role, you have the opportunity to dramatically accelerate the rate of patient growth and set our patients up for long-term success in improving their metabolic heath.

Responsibilities
- Deliver a vision for the future of Virta’s early patient experience, and align the organization on how to get there
- Deeply understand the patient populations that are applying to Virta through primary quantitative and qualitative research
- Translate your understanding of patients and our business into compelling product bets that are easy to reason about, both for your product development team as well as cross functional partners in operations, marketing, and Virta leadership
- Articulate clear goals, priorities, and plans to drive execution on a sprint-to-sprint basis
90 Day Plan
Within your first 90 days at Virta, we expect you will do the following:
- Get to know your product development team (engineering, design, analytics) and partners
- Immerse yourself in the multivariate data we capture on our patient experience, and tools for user research
- Define, ship, and iterate on high quality features for our early patient experience
- Propose strategic focus areas for the next 6 months
Must-Haves
- 5+ years experience in a product management role. We value experience from other software development roles and general management as well. Experience in consumer technology or digital health is strongly preferred
- Experience working with technical teams that develop and ship software
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
