Intern Content Writer- Remote

Role Summary:

upskillable is looking for a creative and detail-oriented content writer to join our marketing team as an intern. As a valued member of the team, you will work on a variety of writing and editing projects, which include web copy, blog posts, email marketing campaigns, and more. Ultimately, your contribution will help us reach our audience, attract customers, and achieve our collective goals.

Your insightful contribution will help develop, expand and maintain our marketing channels. It's an unpaid internship and the duration of the placement is 03 months (with option to extend). You can do your job remotely from your home. We work 05 days a week. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.

What will you gain as an Intern?

This internship will help you develop your digital marketing and promotions skills. It will provide you with knowledge of various marketing strategies. You’ll get exposure to how a start-up works, how to market SaaS products and how to run campaigns for software products to generate awareness and leads. You will also get to use the latest tech tools and fast forward yourself in the technology space. You will be guided by diverse team members and be mentored by world class coaches. Whilst the position is unpaid, you will gain broad experience in marketing, sales and customer success. This vital experience will prepare you to enter any fast paced tech workspace.

Key Activities:

• Writing and editing content for website copy, blog articles, social media posts, and email campaigns
• Creating & proofing content for presentations, proposals and reports
• Proofreading content for errors and inconsistencies
• Assisting Sales & Customer Success teams
• Other duties as assigned

Key Skills & Competencies:

• Working toward a degree in marketing, English, or a related field
• Background or interest in IT or technology is a plus.
• Proficiency in English is essential. Native English speakers are preferred.
• Strong copywriting and editing skills.
• Skilled in grammar, punctuation, and spelling, proofreading, and fact checking.
• Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel).
